Marxist Intellectuals had been looking for a country they could destabilize to allow a political movement that could establish Communism. World War I gave them that opportunity.
World War I 1914-1918 was a
valid war that involved an invasion of Serbia by Austro-Hungary that was joined
by Germany, Italy and the Ottoman Empire. This alliance was opposed by England,
France, Russia and the US in 1917.
This war could have been avoided if the alliance had imposed total economic isolation of Austro-Hungary.
Marxists noted the animosity of the Russian people toward their monarchy and began a Communist Revolution in 1918. The USSR was established in 1922.
World War II 1939-1945 was a valid war that involved an invasion of Poland by Germany that was joined by Italy and Japan. This alliance was opposed by England, France, Russia and the US in 1941. This war could have been avoided if the alliance had imposed total economic isolation of Germany, Italy and Japan. It might have been avoided if we had avoided having World War I in the first place.
The Russian army had “liberated” Eastern Europe from the Nazis in 1945 and added these countries to the USSR. Russia refused to allow these countries to reestablish themselves as sovereign countries. This resulted in the “Cold War”.
The Cold War separated countries in the “Free World” from Communist Countries who were poised to expand Communism. This
In 1945, China was destabilized by Japanese occupation and two separate Chinese Armies fought the Japanese from 1941 to 1945. Then in 1945 the Chinese Marxist army fought the Chinese Nationalist Army. Mao Zedong took control of the Chinese mainland and established the Peoples’ Republic of China.
The Korean War 1950-1953 was a valid war that involved an invasion of South Korea by North Korea. Korea was divided in 1945. In World War 2, Russia protected North Korea from the Japanese and the US protected South Korea from the Japanese. The Korean War ended in a stalemate returned to their original 38th parallel border.
They Vietnam War 1965-1975 was also a valid war that involved the invasion of South Vietnam by North Vietnam. but it has a back-story.
France obtained control over northern Vietnam following its victory over China in the Sino-French War (1884–85). French Indochina was formed on 17 October 1887 from Annam, Tonkin, Cochinchina (which together form modern Vietnam) and the Kingdom of Cambodia; Laos was added after the Franco-Siamese War in 1893. In 1945, North Vietnam declared independence from France.
The federation lasted until 21 July 1954. In the four protectorates, the French formally left the local rulers in power, who were the emperors of Vietnam, kings of Cambodia, and kings of Luang Prabang, but in fact gathered all powers in their hands, the local rulers acting only as figureheads
In 1954, France lost their colony in Indochina to North Vietnam. Ho Chi Min wanted to claim South Vietnam and had the fighting force to try it. The Cold War had begun and the US became anti-communist. Truman, Eisenhauer and Kennedy got caught in the trap of trying to prevent communism everywhere. US interests should have been limited to preventing a communist take-over in the US and Kennedy was not in favor of having the US prevent communism everywhere. Johnson took the bait and went to war against the North Vietnamese and the US lost.
In 1959, Fidel Castro won his revolution in Cuba and he established a Communist Government.
In 1989, the USSR went broke, released its eastern European countries and dissolved. It reformed as the Russian Republic, but quickly turned into a One-party country with Communist friends..
In 1998, Hugo Chavez was
elected President of Venezuela and established a Communist Government.
Several other countries in South America have taken their turn with Socialist leaders including Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, El Salvadore, Bolivia and Chile.
Socialism is the beginning of the road to Communist and voters in all countries should be wary of socialist politicians who promise free stuff.
Marxism in the US began with socialism that includes government control.
In 1901 Theodore Roosevelt became US President and was the first “Progressive” President supporting the expansion of Federal Land and Colonialism. In 1913, Woodrow Wilson was elected the first socialist US President. In 1932, Franklin D Roosevelt was elected the second socialist US President. In 2009, Barak Obama was elected the third socialist US President. In 2020, Joe Biden was elected the fourth socialist US President.
Moses said to Israel, “Pick up your shovels, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land”. In 1932, Franklin Roosevelt said to the US: ‘Put down your shovels, lite up a camel and sit on your asses, this is the promised land.’
US socialist presidents set the course of the US to suffer high inflation. In 1913, a loaf of bread was 2 cents.US Federal subsidies have doubled the cost of education and healthcare every year since the 1970s. Public education has failed and healthcare now requires patients to finally take responsibility for their own health.
Trump gave us 4 years of peace and prosperity from 2017-2020, using economic isolation and energy production.
Biden is giving us 4 years of war and economic destruction from 2021-2024. Current Foreign Wars include Russia’s invasion of Ukraine with Ukraine being funded by the US and EU and Iran’s proxy Hamas Palestine-Gaza’s invasion of Israel being funded by the US. China is also threatening to invade Taiwan. The US has been invaded by Marxist Democrats who crashed our economy and invited wars and 11 million Illegal immigrant Democrat voters.
I view Marxism as a failed economic system that will not go away until the populations in affected countries use their voting rights to replace their Marxist politicians with Free Market politicians. Voters should insist on their rights to own land and own the buildings and businesses on their land, so they can build family wealth. Voters should resist excessive government spending and work to expand their private sector economies.
Norb Leahy, Dunwoody GA Tea
