HB 502 is the Ultimate Common Core Bill.
It Must be Defeated in the Georgia Senate

Friends, this is it, the whole enchilada.  If HB 502 passes the Georgia Senate, it is over.  Common Core will be in Georgia to stay, BY LAW. curriculum from that which Common Core will require, now and in the future. Any place you read the term, "core curriculum" replaced by the term "content standards," that change is outlawing the ability of Georgia State or local school boards from changing any aspect of the resulting curriculum from that which Common Core will require, now and in the future.

HB 502 has a line in it that requires our student test results to be comparable with other states. If it passes, Georgia will have to use the testing consortium assessments or purchase them from the owners of the testing consortium assessments. That means Georgia parents, teachers, citizens and elected officials will have no authority over how our students are tested, what is on the tests, and when they are tested. We need to stop HB 502! BILL # 2.  Ralston & crew want to shut you up! Need to call today. Speaker Ralston is demanding the legislature silence liberty activists by passing Senate Bill 127, which should be named the “Gag Act.”   It will force activist groups to reveal their donors and therefore enable incumbents and leftists to create an enemies list.  (see forwarded email for details)
Georgia House Speaker Ralston is demanding the legislature silence liberty activists by passing Senate Bill 127, which should be named the “Gag Act.”

This bill would require Campaign for Liberty and any other pro-liberty group that talks about the records of politicians to hand over lists of their supporters to a government monitoring agency.

In other words, it gives the politicians in Atlanta an “enemies list” to go after if you try to speak up about their voting records or engage with fellow citizens to advocate for a cause.

*Now - in the closing days of the legislative session - House Speaker David Ralston and his cronies are scheming to ram through this attack on free speech*.

This bill is critical to the plans of the political class in Atlanta to secure their power by ensuring the voters cannot learn of their voting records on liberty issues.

An inside source at the Capitol told me they hoped to ram this bill through during the last days of the session with little or no pushback from activists.
