UN Poland climate conference all about control, 11/24/18. CFACT.
The UN is about to kick off its biggest and most important climate conference of the year in Katowice Poland. CFACT will be there!
A UN climate conference in Poland presents unique opportunities. The Poles are among the most highly skeptical people about global warming in the world. They've already waited in line for bread and toilet paper under a centrally planned economy and don't want to go back. CFACT's friendships and alliances in Poland are warm and substantial. The UN Paris Agreement was deliberately left vague. The better to suck in all the world's nations, including the U.S. under Barack Obama.
Now the UN wants to put the devil into the details. CFACT contributor David Wojick explains:
The goal is to “finalize the rule book” for the Paris Agreement and The US delegation is included, because America has yet to actually withdraw... The basic issue is very simple in its way. After years of negotiations, the draft text implementing the Paris Agreement is still hundreds of pages of contradictory provisions.
Every idea that any country’s delegation has put forward is in there and very few can be accepted in the final draft. Twelve days starts to look very short.
David Wojick was prescient. The UN agreed that the time they've scheduled in Poland is not enough so they've tacked on an extra day at the start of the conference. He further reports that:
This time might be a tad different because hundreds of billions of dollars are almost on the table. The developing countries, which are the vast majority of UN members, think they have been promised at least $100 billion a year from the developed countries (especially the US), beginning in 2020.
This huge wealth transfer is supposed to at least begin to pay for the developing countries doing their bit to fight climate change. Other tabs are also on the table, including what is called in UN-speak “loss and damage.” This means the developed countries pay for all the damage caused by bad weather, in the name of climate change compensation. I am not making this up. The figure of $400 billion a year has been officially mentioned.

The cast of characters seeking to cash in on climate change through the UN are legion. Failed Socialists, Green campaigners, emissions traders, "green" power corporations, underdeveloped nations looking for a handout, the list goes on and on. They've already made hundreds of billions off this process and their ambitions know no bounds.
That's why they'll do anything to keep the UN climate regime going, no matter how much the science reveals their folly. The United States is the world's richest country and they are desperate to claw us back in.
