There were 27 utilities in the Fortune 500 list. The additional smaller 22 companies bring the total to 49 companies providing electricity, water and natural gas to US consumers.

Utility waste disposal work needs to be accomplished for nuclear and coal. Hydro needs to be expanded to provide cheap electricity and water supplies. The electric grid controlling all of these utilities needs to be protected from being fried by microwave pulse weapons and solar eruption.
