ICE Disruption 9-6-25

The Plan that is working to remove Crime from the streets of DC is being offered to other US cities and States. It includes deploying National Guard Troops to deter violent protests aimed at ICE Agents who are arresting Illegal Criminals and Illegal Non-Criminals who have Deportation Orders. ICE has prioritized Illegal Criminals for immediate Deportation and currently has currently been targeting “Sanctuary Cities and States” where crime is high due to Drug Gang operations.

Red States like Georgia with Republican Governors and Republican controlled Legislatures tend to not allow Sanctuary designations.

There are no sanctuary cities or counties in Georgia in 2025 because Georgia has had a state law prohibiting sanctuary policies since 2009, and recent legislative actions have further reinforced this by removing legal protections for localities that might violate this law. While the Department of Justice (DOJ) had previously identified some Georgia jurisdictions as sanctuary jurisdictions in May 2025, a subsequent list published in August 2025 removed all of them, confirming that Georgia's localities are not on the current DOJ list of sanctuary jurisdictions.

Blue States with Democrat Governors and Democrat controlled Legislatures tend to allow Sanctuary Jurisdictions and Sponsored Violent Protests. Blue States tend to have Democrat Mayors and Democrat controlled City Counsels.

Chicago residents in crime-ridden neighborhoods have organized to request that Trump should deploy National Guard units to protect ICE to arrest and deport their Illegal Criminals and Drug Dealers. The Illinois Governor is objecting to Trump responding to the Chicago Resident’s request.

Democrat Federal Judges are sure to issue injunctions to stop Trump from responding.

ICE is continuing to raid and arrest Illegal Criminal Gangs in cities across the US and are targeting high crime cities. Democrat Federal Judges are likely to continue issuing injunctions to stop Trump.

This Democrat strategy will fail as more of these injunctions are reversed on Appeal. This will restore the “Supremacy Clause” that requires States to obey Federal Law.

Republicans in Congress will follow up with New Federal Laws that support the Appeal decisions. To pass these laws, Republicans will need a 60% majority in the Senate with the mid-term elections in 2026.
