The AJC article,
6/23/19, page B1 “Battle over voting rights escalates in federal court: reports
that Georgia Democrats have filed suit over “voting problems” in the 2018
election of Brian Kemp as Governor. They want “oversight”. I assume they want
Democrat “oversight”. Democrats want to restore the 1965 voter rights act that
was ruled against by the US Supreme Court in 2013.
The article states:
Georgia had 7 million voters registered in 2018. Kemp won by 55,000 votes, or 1.4%. 200 voters
reported difficulty voting. 1.4 million registrations were cancelled from 2012
to 2018.
Georgia Democrats are
complaining that Georgia Republicans are cleaning the voter registration list
to remove people who moved, people who don’t exist, probably illegal
immigrants, those in jail and dead people. These are the voters Democrats are
counting on to become the majority party in Georgia.
