News Drivel

Most of the news stories we get from the media rise to the level of gossip. It’s as if they don’t want to cover any news that is useful. There is lots of Liberal propaganda, Democrat taking points for Liberal narratives, potential scandals, innuendo and opinion and very little in the way of facts or useful insights. The other thing that gets over-covered are disasters and memorials of disasters. Useless information is repeated over and over, day after day.

It is all designed to elicit an emotional reaction. Transactional Analysis classifies this as a “game” called “Ain’t It Awful”. We used to call it “small talk” but it is really gossip. This all started with systemic, chronic political correctness to further brainwash the population. In the days of “small talk”, we were told not to talk about religion or politics. These were seen as private and personal topics. As time passed, so did our privacy.

The media loves “who done it” plots.  TV media covers trials, detective stories, murder mysteries, teen angst, adultery, suicide, zombies, naked campers, bad behavior, talk shows, food shows and programs to keep the Democrat Party alive.  We have way too much of this and not enough good comedy, song and dance.

The media also loves “what if” themes that cover theories that are not plausible, like Ancient Aliens. This supports the Liberal boondoggles that also propose implausible outcomes. If you are skeptical of them, they accuse you of being uncreative.

Newspapers support the media narrative on a local level. Most of their articles are about government and crime and they fail to see how compatible these are. The legal system is clearly predatory.

If the media is covering those who want to be covered, you wonder why they want to be covered.
