US Teen Employment

I’m beginning to see US Citizen Student Employment recover after decades of decline. I believe this is due to our efforts to limit immigration, increase jobs and restore the US economy.

The advanced PR campaign to reduce teen employment occurred in the 1980s. Movies showed teens hanging out at shopping malls. There was push-back from adults complaining about the “entitlement mentality”. We also saw the beginnings of political correctness and environmental scams.

After 2000, teen employment took a 25% dive and dropped another 20% after 2008. We saw immigrants fill the jobs in grocery stores and retail. Young Black adults filled jobs in fast food. These adults need higher paying jobs and our teenagers need to dominate these minimum wage jobs.

Teenagers who hold part-time and summer jobs are better prepared to respond to a life of work. In the 1960s, employers wanted to hire applicants who had earned 100% of their tuition costs.

We have seen millennials struggle to join the US economy. We now have “snowflakes” in our toxic universities and scores of young people taking drugs. They have been sabotaged by their schools.
