Korea’s 2017 total population is 25,405,296. urban 15,557,359, rural 9,847,937. There are 1.2 million in the armed forces. 12
million live in extreme poverty. North Korea occupies 46,541 square miles,
about the size of Pennsylvania. North Korea’s GDP was $16.12 billion in 2016.
They are a failed state that is being propped-up by China.
Like every
other, communist or central big government country, North Korea needs to expand
private property ownership rights and establish the rule of law and a stronger
private sector economy.
