The cost of government and taxes are too high and France needs to develop more manufacturing in basic industries like steel and equipment. France does not need to remain in the EU and have to pay for the global warming hoax.

US French Relationship

The US relationship with France is historic. US Founders sought an alliance with France to break away from British rule.  France and Britain had fought off and on for centuries.  The French sent their Navy to ensure the surrender of the British at Yorktown in 1781.

The French were then inspired by US Independence to overthrow their Monarchy. In 1789, food shortages and economic crises led to the outbreak of the French Revolution. King Louis and his queen, Mary-Antoinette, were imprisoned in August 1792, and in September the monarchy was abolished.

The US entered World War I in 1917 and fought alongside France to defeat the Germans in 1918.

The US entered World War II in 1941 and fought alongside France to defeat the Germans in 1945.

In 2018, French exports to the US totaled $45.3B and French imports of US goods totaled $41.58B.

Pollutants exist in coal ash ponds. The ponds need to be lined to prevent pollutants from leaching into ground water. These pollutants further need to be chemically treated to remove the poisons and heavy metals. The expense associated with removing this hazard has discouraged power plants from using coal. If cleanup processes are improved, this problem may go away.

US Oil Production Update

Energy Dominance: US Crude Oil Production Tops 12 Million Barrels per Day in April! by David Middleton7/15/19.

U.S. crude oil production surpassed 12 million barrels per day in April.

U.S. crude oil production and lease condensate reached another milestone in April 2019, totaling 12.2 million barrels per day (b/d), according to EIA’s latest Petroleum Supply Monthly.

April 2019 marks the first time that monthly U.S. crude oil production levels surpassed 12 million b/d, and this milestone comes less than a year after U.S. crude oil production surpassed 11 million b/d in August 2018.

Texas and the Federal Offshore Gulf of Mexico (GOM), the two largest crude oil production areas in the United States, both reached record levels of production in April at 4.97 million b/d and 1.98 million b/d, respectively. Oklahoma also reached a record production level of 617,000 b/d.

The U.S. onshore crude oil production increase is driven mainly by developing low permeability (tight) formations using horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing. EIA estimates that crude oil production from tight formations in April 2019 reached 7.4 million b/d, or 61% of the U.S. total.

US oil consumption is 20 million bbd, so with US production of oil at 12.2 million bbd, adding 1 million each year we might expect to produce 20 million bbd in 8 years or sooner.
