Medical Costs
Our actual medical costs include hospital
charges for tests, treatments and medication. These are the bills our hospitals
send to our insurance companies.
If we can lower medical costs, we can
reduce spending on Medicare, Medicaid and Veterans healthcare. If we do not
reduce medical costs, we cannot reduce our healthcare insurance costs. Our
healthcare insurance costs include all medical costs plus 30%.
The pieces are all related. The government
unsustainable spending in Medicare, Medicaid and Healthcare subsidies have
caused medical costs to rise. Reducing these government subsidies becomes
necessary to reduce medical costs.
Medicare, Medicaid and Obamacare were
instituted on a socialist model that is unsustainable. The cost increases in
Obamacare are but a symptom of the larger problem.
