Census Irrelevant

The US Census is being rendered useless to determine Congressional Districts and to audit voting records to prevent voter fraud. The primary method Democrats are counting on to get elected is voter fraud. We are split 50-50 and Democrats will obstruct fixing this problem.

The US Census began in 1790, long before Federal Grants to States and punishments for noncompliance. The total population of the US was 3,929,326 and everything was done on horseback.

Decennial U.S. Census figures are based on actual counts of persons dwelling in U.S. residential structures. They include citizens, non-citizen legal residents, non-citizen long-term visitors and undocumented immigrants. The Census Bureau bases its decision about whom to count on the concept of usual residence.

Title 13 of the United States Code governs how the Census is conducted and how its data is handled. Information is confidential as per 13 U.S.C. § 9. Refusing or neglecting to answer the census is punishable by fines of $100, for a property or business agent to fail to provide correct names for the census is punishable by fines of $500, and for a business agent to provide false answers for the census is punishable by fines of $10,000, pursuant to 13 U.S.C. § 221-224.

President Trump Flexes Executive Muscles And Orders EVERY Department To Get A Citizen Count, Simon Daily 7/13/19.

Trump gave a speech in the rose garden explaining that he was signing an executive order to determine our actual population.

He originally wanted to get a question added to the census but they fought it, and although he could have won, it would have delayed the census.

“I am hereby ordering every department and agency in the federal government to provide the Department of Commerce with all requested records regarding the number of citizens and noncitizens in our country.

They must furnish all legally accessible records in their possession immediately. We will utilize these vast federal databases to gain a full, complete and accurate count of the noncitizen population, including databases maintained by the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration.” “We will leave no stone unturned.”

Attorney General William Barr later took the podium at the event to congratulate the president on the executive order, and indicated that it marks the end of the three separate ongoing court cases the administration is fighting in Maryland, California and New York over the administration’s efforts to add the question to the census.

“There is simply no way to litigate these issues and obtain relief from the current injunctions in time to implement any new decision without jeopardizing our ability to carry out the census,” Barr said, after insisting that he believed the government’s effort would have inevitably survived a legal review if brought back before the Supreme Court.

But Barr also suggested, near the close of his remarks, that the administration would explore ways to potentially use the information collected from agencies to advise the congressional redistricting process, a move that would almost certainly generate a legal challenge from the same groups that brought lawsuits over the citizenship question.”

67% of voters approve of adding a citizenship question to the census, per a Harvard/Harris poll.” This shouldn’t have been a big deal. Most Americans think that we should ask about citizenship. Instead, Trump had to put out an executive order to do an actual count of Americans. Dems just don’t want to have to start paying for all of the illegals in their sanctuary cities.
