Communist Countries


These 5 are “Communist Countries” with One Party Rule

These 13 are ruled by a coalition that includes elected Communist Party Members

Spain – Communist Party and Socialist Workers’ Party.

These 22 countries tried Communist rule for a time.

Benin  - Peoples’ Revolutionary Party (1975–1990)
Bulgaria – Communist Party (1946–1990)
Cambodia – Communist Party (1975–19791979–1991)
SR Croatia Social Democrat Party (1945–1990)
Czechoslovakia Communist Party (1948–1990)
Ethiopia – Workers’ Party (1974–1987), (1987–1991)
East Germany – Democratic Socialist Party (1949–1989)
Mongolia (1924–1992) –  Peoples’ Party (1924-1992)
Mozambique Liberation Front (1975–1990)
Poland – Polish Workers’ Party (1944–1989)
Somalia – Revolutionary Socialist Party (1969–1991)
Soviet Union – Communist Party USSR (1917-1991)
Turkmenistan – Communist Party (dissolved 1991
Yugoslavia  - Communist Party (dissolved 1990)

Some of these countries have changed names. New names include Czech Republic, Russian Federation, Bosnia, Slovenia and Slovakia,

Communists now call themselves Social Democrats. In the US Communists and Socialists are called Democrats.

France - Communist Party and coalition (1981–1989; 1997–2002)

Italy - Communist Party and coalition (1976–1979, 2006–2008)
Mali – Party of Labour and Alliance for Democracy (2005–2014)

Comments

Everybody has Communist Parties and everybody has Communists masquerading under different names.  In the US, the Communists wrote the Bills for the US Congress and passed them to the Democrats to sponsor. The EU Bureaucracy has been packed with Communists.
