Cults are formed by
twisted leaders to advance their own agendas. Cults are found in government,
religion and other high profile entities. The word “Fan” is short for Fanatic.
Cults are enabled
intimidation, peer pressure from fully brainwashed members who reinforce total
subjugation on new members. Questioning
the orders of the “leader” is not allowed and will be punishable by force. These
twisted leaders promote the myth that they are instructed by God or have a
legitimate “destiny”.
Those who are
susceptible to becoming cult members have a specific set of weaknesses that
allow the twisted leaders to control them to obey without question.
James Jones (1931 - 1978) was an American civil rights preacher, faith
healer and charismatic religious, communist cult leader who conspired with his inner circle to direct
a mass
suicide and
mass murder of his followers in his jungle commune at Jonestown, Guyana.
He
launched the Peoples
Temple in Indiana during the 1950s.
Rev. Jones was officially ordained in 1956 by the Independent Assemblies of God and in 1964 by
the Disciples of Christ. He moved his congregation to California in 1965 and gained
notoriety with its activities in San Francisco in the 1970s. He
then left the United States, bringing many members to a Guyana jungle commune.
In
1978, media reports surfaced of human rights abuses in the Peoples Temple in
Jonestown. U.S. Representative Leo Ryan led a delegation to
the commune to investigate. Ryan and others were murdered by gunfire while
boarding a return flight with some former cult members who had wished to leave.
Jones then ordered and likely coerced a mass suicide by 918 commune members,
304 of them children, almost all by cyanide-poisoned Flavor Aid.
Warren Jeffs (1955 - present) is the President of the Fundamentalist Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS Church), a polygamous Mormon cult.
In
2011, Jeffs was convicted of two felony counts of child sexual assault, for which he is currently serving a sentence of life plus twenty years.
In
2006, Jeffs was placed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List for his flight from the charges that he had arranged
illegal marriages between his adult male followers and underage girls in Utah. In 2007, Arizona charged him with
eight additional counts in two separate cases, including incest and sexual conduct with minors.
In
September 2007, Jeffs was convicted of two counts of rape as an accomplice. Jeffs was extradited to Texas,
where
he was found guilty of sexual assault of a child (for sex with a
15-year-old he had married) and aggravated sexual assault against a child (for sex with a 12-year-old
he had married), for which he was sentenced to life in prison plus twenty years
and fined $10,000.
Charles Manson (1934 - 2017) was an American criminal and cult leader. In mid-1967, he formed what became known as
the Manson
Family, a
quasi-commune based in California.
Manson's
followers committed a series of nine murders at four locations in July and August
1969. Manson plotted to start a race war. In 1971, he was
convicted of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
At
the time the Manson Family began to form, Manson was an unemployed ex-convict
who had spent more than half of his life in correctional institutions for a
variety of offenses. Before the murders, he was a failed singer-songwriter and
cult leader.
The
Los Angeles district attorney claimed that Manson was obsessed with the Beatles. Manson adopted the term
"Helter Skelter" to describe an impending apocalyptic race war. At trial
the prosecution claimed that Manson and his followers, who were mostly young
women, believed that the murders would help precipitate that war.
From
the beginning of Manson's notoriety, a pop culture arose around him in which he
ultimately became an emblem of insanity, violence, and the macabre. After he
was charged with the crimes of which he was later convicted, He served out
his life sentence at California State Prison and died at age 83 in late 2017.
US Socialist Democrats
have all the earmarks of a cult. Their policies are fiscally suicidal and their
activists are violently intolerant. Their world-view cannot be defended in open
debate, so they refuse to debate. They respond by reciting their talking points
and won’t answer pertinent questions. They are Marxists hiding their real
agenda to crash the US economy and need to be ignored.
The signal that the
Socialist Democrats are losing cult members would be the number of the Deep
State, government employee DC, Virginia and Maryland voters who vote for Trump
in 2020.
