US 2019 Forest Fire Festival

The 2019 US Forest Fire Festival is underway with 988,559 acres destroyed in 19,481 fires from 1/1/19 to 7/1/19.

Current fires on 7/1/19 are consuming 554,094 acres in 46 Forest Fires.  In our current fires, Alaska is in the lead with 387,833 acres in 36 fires, followed by Arizona with 144,316 acres in 4 fires, New Mexico with 18,368 acres in 3 fires, Colorado with 1,650 acres in 1 fire, Utah with 1,517 acres in 1 fire and last years’ winner Colorado with a measly 410 acres in 1 fire burning on 7/1/19. I’m confident that California made significant contributions earlier in 2019 and will finish in First Place again in 2019.

The US 2019 Mudslide Festival was held again in California, mostly at the Forest Fire Festival venues

The US 2019 Earthquake Festival began on July 4th with a 6.4 earthquake on July 4th and a 7.1 earthquake on July 5th in Southern California Mojave Desert 150 miles northeast of LA. Techtonic plates were grinding 10 miles down and about 90 miles from the San Andreas big one.

If you live in Kansas City KS, where there are no forest fires, mud slides or earthquakes and earn $65,736, you would need to earn $150,000 to live in California.
