BC.
The Maya
Civilization - 1800 B.C. to 250 AD. The earliest Maya settlements date to around 1800 B.C. in the
tropical lowlands of Guatemala. The
Mayan Empire fell to the Spanish around 1550 AD.
The Aztec Civilization - 1100 AD - 1200 AD, the
Valley of Mexico is first settled by migrating tribes. In 1345 AD - 1521 AD: The Aztec civilization occupied
southern Mexico and fell to the Spanish in 1521.
Inca settled in the
Cusco Valley in 1100 AD. The Inca Empire began in 1425 AD and occupied the West
Coast of South America. The Inca Empire fell to the Spanish in 1532 AD.
