The UK, like other
European countries, has too many political parties. The main parties are
Conservative and Labour. Rather than
have factions in each party and issues coalitions they create new parties to
promote specific issues. This results in gridlock whenever there is a vote on
anything like Brexit. The EU dictates UK policy and Parliament has become
redundant and unnecessary. Give them
something real to vote on and they turn to jelly.

Whoever inherits this
mess is in for trouble. 3 years have passed since the Brexit vote and voters
are docile and their docile politicians will continue to fail.
