US Trade Reset

The Nominal US Trade Balance for 2018 was -$879 billion. The US Exported $ 1.664 trillion and Imported $2.543 trillion.

The US trade deficit with Asia is $622 billion and the US trade deficit with Europe is $202 billion. The US trade deficit with NAFTA was $201 billion with Mexico and $35 billion with Canada.

The US is backing out of China and building its energy export future. The long game is to increase US production of oil and LNG to export, restore US manufacturing and resource extraction and close the trade deficit by 2026.

The US encourages all countries to provide jobs for their own citizens to produce the goods the consume and insists on reciprocal lawful trade. The US is restoring manufacturing jobs to produce goods for the US market. Foreign companies are welcome to move their manufacturing operations to the US to produce goods consumed by US citizens.

The US Trade Deficit in Asia needs to be reduced and China’s theft of US intellectual property and military build-up makes it necessary to remove or replace our technology
companies. The US Trade deficits in Europe need to be renegotiated.
