"[President Obama] created a system that would give 5
million people unlawfully in America the right to stay here, the right to take
any job, a photo ID, a Social Security number, and it will pull down wages of
Americans, reduce the opportunity for work, and experts tell us it will create
a 'tidal wave' of increased illegal immigration in the future...
Congress has a duty not to fund programs we believe are bad,
unlawful, or unworthy of financial support.
I think we will fund this government and I think we should not fund the
proposal the President wants to carry out... Companies don't get to set the
immigration policy in America... Wages are falling... We need to get our people
working, Megyn. We have people on welfare, people unemployed, people whose
wages are down, people who are working part-time who want to work full-time,
and that's who is being forgotten... Somebody needs to stand up for the
American worker, the integrity of our legal system, and Constitutional
order."

If Republicans are successful in keeping
these 5 million illegal immigrants from receiving work permits, social security
cards and drivers’ licenses, illegal immigration should subside.
If Republicans are not successful, the signal
would be clear and many more illegal immigrants will swamp the border.
