US Media Needs to
Change. Cable TV, Cable News and Newspapers need to begin cover the material US
customers really need to know with more useful detail and less useless trivia
and propaganda.
I watch the news and
read the newspaper, but the reporting always leaves me with questions. So, I go
to the internet to look for the answers.
I do this because I write this blog and the purpose of the blog is to
fill in the gaps left by the Lame-stream media.
Preserving the US
requires an informed electorate and we have a “free press” and “freedom of
speech” to ensure that tyrants don’t control the news, but they do. In the US
this is done with distraction and neglect.
US citizens need hard
economic data and wisdom to make decisions to ensure that they are acting in
their own best interest. This isn’t limited to investments, but includes
selecting careers and occupations and assessing political issues. The media is
low on hard economic data, bereft of wisdom and crafty in suggesting inaccurate
conclusions.
