I was home-schooled to age 7 and entered 3rd grade at Holy Child School in Queens. Our time in New York was amazing in 1950. We spent our free time hanging out at all the sites. New York suffered through a string of bad Mayors. Rudy Giuliani was the mayor of New York City from January 1, 1994, to December 31, 2001 and he cleaned up the mess. We visited New York in 1994 and it was amazing again. After 2001, New York continued to decline to hit its current bottom in 2025.

As the decline continues, New York will continue to empty out. There are many major US cities who would welcome the addition of the New York Banks.

I expect that the New York Banks and other Corporations are looking at other cities to relocate their Headquarters to. If Zohran Kwame Mamdani, the Democrat Candidate is elected Mayor of New York, I expect many of these Corporations to move to other cities. New York will not have the capability to support the upgrading their systems will need to accommodate AI implementation.
